This is a project about Auburn Plaid Textile Design.
When thinking about design with the elements of Auburn, the first thing that comes to my mind is Aubie.
Aubie is 45 years old in 2025.For this project, all my design are based on thenumbers four and five.
The Unusual
With the increase pressure to lose weight nowadays, designers creates a rebellious style with unusual shapes or silhouettes. This project is also based on this concept.
Ocean Guardian
This line focuses on reducing water pollution and protecting the marine ecosystem.
That's why I use organic cotton and botanical dyes to create this line of eco-friendly casual wear for women aged 15-35.
And it has a positive impact on sustainability.
What I Love about Auburn?
This project is about developing wearable pocket handkerchiefs. The main element I choose is Chinese buns.
There are different kinds of foods in Auburn. For me, Chinese food reminds me where I am from.
Design Challenge - Auburn Plaid Design Competition
This project is based on elements from Auburn.
During my research , I discovered that Auburn University has 13 colleges. Among them, the college of Human Sciences offers 14 majors.
Therefore, all my designs are based on these numbers.
